Forged in the depths of covid isolation two brave souls reached out in the world of online dating. Ok, it was a week before, but close enough.

Eventually plans were laid to meet face to face and we had our first date in the brides parents backyard, over a campfire, unbeknownst to the parents....

Jacob brought a small 3D printed dinosaur. Heather brought hot dogs.

True Romance….

Fast forward to August 23, four years later, Jacob (finally) worked up the courage to propose. Only to discover when he arrived that other people had been invited to the planned campfire as well.

And then they stayed. Forever.

After everyone else had left, including Sharmayne who helpfully lingered through cleanup, Jacob managed to slip away- and in true fashion, Heather followed.

Back outside, under the stars, Jacob finally got the chance to ask the question that had been waiting all night.

After he interrupted Heathers singing, of course.

So many plans have been made, remade and forgotten- but the countdown is on and we can hardly wait to see what comes next!
